Performance and Outcomes

At Sturminster Marshall, all teachers and Teaching Assistants continually monitor the progress of the children they teach. This information is used to adapt and target teaching to the children’s needs and to ensure everyone makes the best possible progress in every lesson. Assessments will use a combination of observations, pupil conferencing, feedback and testing to form a comprehensive picture of children’s knowledge, achievements and next steps. Where appropriate, extra provision, such as targeted interventions, will be provided to support children in fulfilling their potential.
